TGIF, peeps. This coming Wednesday brings my daughter’s first day of preschool for the year and I am really looking forward to it!
She and I were wandering the school supply aisles at Target and I spotted these lovely art supplies. What class are these for??? The Oil Pastels were $6.47 ; the Water Colors were $8.09. Good, right?
I went to Joann Fabric a couple weeks ago to see what Stampington magazines they had on sale and I brought with me a printed coupon for 25% off my total purchase.
It just so happened that the whole store was on sale! I got a little bin with all the tiny stamps in the top left here for about $5! On a trip to visit my husband’s family this past week, I had my first (and second) shopping experience at AC Moore. Wowzers are we in the South missing out on some amazing brands and prices on scrapbooking supplies. The small unmounted stamp on the top right… 45 cents. The mounted stamps on the middle right…50 cents each. And those cute little letter bundles on the bottom right? 80 cents each. I KNOW!!!
I have no idea how they can offer such crazy good prices. Each of these packages of stickers below were only $1.22.
I’ve wanted to do some cards and collages with ribbon for a while now. The stack on the left below is from Joann’s and I got all 10 spools for about $3. The tower on the right is from AC Moore and all of that was about $10.
This cute little box was on sale for $4.
I found these Zig pens and Faber Castel markers in the clearance bins outside AC Moore for $1 each.
And AC Moore had huge sales on paper…
I ordered these cute little buttons from Eve. She also has tags, art journal kits, stamp sets, and vintage papers. Definitely check out her site for tutorials too.
AND, I got some great deals at a 1/2 Price Books here on some lovely books about stamping and about collage. I’m afraid this is just the tip of the iceberg as far as all my new craft goodies go. I finally got to spread everything out yesterday and just stare at it all before organizing and putting it away. 🙂 I can hardly wait to share with you some of what I’ve been creating!
Now tell me… are you as giddy about all this as I am? Want more? See these posts:

Happy weekend, friends!

I’m excited for you and your daughter, Naomi! I was so happy when my daughter got into preschool too. She’s now in grade school and every time she gets home, she’s so excited to share what she’s learned. If only we can keep them that way a little longer, right? :’) And, and I am so tempted to buy some art supplies whenever we go shopping for school supplies. The last time I gave in was when I saw these felt-tip pens from Faber Castel.

Jackie, I’m glad to hear that the later years of school are just as good from a parent’s perspective. I want my daughter to always be able to come home and be excited to tell me what she’s learned. Thanks so much for visiting!
You’re welcome! Grade school is just as nice as preschool, so far. 🙂 I don’t know how it’s going to be when she gets into highs school, but I am hoping for the best. 😉
Oooooooooooh, you totally scored on all that. Jealous!
OMG I’m so glad I wasn’t with you lol I have craft shop envy and those magazines ……
You got some really lovely bargains there. I’ve never though of Joanne’s as a place for supplies. I’ll check it out..
Happy weekend to you also.
