Let me see if I can convey to you how out of touch I am with my word this year. Um… I am writing this the night before the blog hop and I can’t for the life of me remember what my word is! Did you hear me? I can’t even remember my word! Oh dear. This is not good, folks!
My mind has been totally preoccupied with selecting window coverings and an area rug for the house and watching the gazillion videos in Christy Tomlinson’s Behind the Art class. Those are the opposite of stillness (my word)!
Anyhow, welcome to this month’s One Little Word bloghop. If you’ve come from Kelly’s blog, you are in the right place. This month Ali asked us to connect our word with photographs.
I find that I’m most at peace in nature or when forgetting myself in an art project.
Hop along to visit Jackie next.

You may not feel connected to your word but it sure seems like it likes you! Lovely pictures, as always. Sorry I’m so late in visiting–hope your May has been wonderful!

Lisa, I’m so glad you think so. I am trying to remember to incorporate it more often.
I love that you did this the night before. I finished mine up around midnight I think (about 4 hours before the post had to go live!) – I think you did a great job even if you aren’t connecting with your word like you think. And that’s what I love about this class, you may realize that you connected with your word more then you think. Keep up the awesome work!

Ha! We must’ve been on the same wavelength last month. I think you are right. My word does seem to evolve as I need it to. Thanks for reading!
I love your photos – I too love art and nature. I really love all the colour you have added to your garden – as I live in Australia and we are entering the cold and dark of winter your flowers make me remember that spring isn’t far away is it!
Now I just feel bad that I didn’t do the actual assignment. Yours is just lovely!

yes, Yes, YES! To art and to nature! I couldn’t agree with more – these are the ways I feed my soul.

Gorgeous photos! Oh, I love Christy Tomlinson’s classes. They are such a great inspiration!
Ah – yes, I recognise those moments of “what did I say again?” Glad you are filling your soul with art and hope that leads to stillness 🙂

I keep getting nourish (my word) and nurture (my vocation) confused 🙂 Your photos are lovely and the words perfect! Thanks for joining in the hop!

You’re too funny! I like your honesty. 🙂
I like how you used your words across the photos.
A lovely set of photos!
