On our recent trip to Ocean City, NJ, we drove around aimlessly while my daughter took her daily nap in the backseat. I started taking pictures of the houses that I liked and eventually came up with an entire version of what life would be like if we lived in one of them. Rise early, long walk on the beach, stop at market on way home, breakfast and coffee and papers on the porch, some cleaning, some writing (I’m a famous author, you know), a nap in the hammock, a light lunch, afternoon of creativity and play, then visit friends or host a dinner party in the evenings. Why not?
