Mr. B and I finally got a babysitter and went out for a coffee date and a walk around a different neighborhood. We got to talk about our shared exhaustion and frustration in parenting our spirited and determined little girl, amongst other things. I’m not sure how we let ourselves get away from these dates. They help us feel much more of a connected team. We will do more for sure. Someday we may even let ourselves go out at night. (Gasp!)

Cool place. Nice blog. Visiting from Be Still 52.
Good for you! That was something we never did often enough when we were going through that stage. We’re trying to make up for it now!

Month-long cruises are a start! 🙂
It is nice to connect as often as you can. Your coffee shop looks wonderful. Write again when you make it out at night. Such a necessary treat.
Have a beautiful weekend.
You are so right. I’m really trying to teach her to fall asleep without me. It’s going well so far… baby steps!
