Finally, some Costa Rica photos for you, friends. One highlight of our trip was going horseback riding in the hopes of spotting some monkeys. While I won’t ever do that again with a camera over my shoulder (or wearing strappy sandals – all I had), I did get some awesome photos of the beach and the monkeys. As we came out of the forest and rode onto the beach, I was consciously committing it to memory. Such a cool experience. My horse, Lulu, was so sweet.
Another experience… kayaking. We had some not-so-nice companions in the water with us.
Besides those two excursions, everything else we did involved rest and food. 🙂

1) Are those howler monkeys? 2) Kayaking w/ alligators? I think not…

Looks amazing Naomi! Love the monkey photos. You were way braver than I would have been to go kayaking with the alligators!
Yeah, really I had no choice! It was either wait for everyone else in a strange place by myself or go…
Those hammocks look amazing!!!
That looks like a great vacation! Why was carrying your camera over your shoulder a bad idea? Did it fall off?
Oh, my lens doesn’t have a lock, so it kept extending all the way out and my camera was bumping and flopping around all over the place. I like the pictures but next time a little phone or point-and-shoot will be fine.
