Feeling the love

A few of my friends have lately mentioned to me that they really like this blog and the photography it features.  I am so honored! If I were technically savvy, I’m sure I could figure out a way to see who is viewing this (and I’d change the font size while I’m at it), but for now your written comments and verbal feedback are like the birthday present I never knew I always wanted.  Thank you for the encouragement!

Here are 6 photos I took this afternoon that I’m excited about.  If you’d like to see a few more, please click on this link: https://picasaweb.google.com/nwittlin2/BlogFlowers?authkey=Gv1sRgCOyy6dHursa4cA&feat=directlink Enjoy!

I have enjoyed every post and photo from your blog. I look forward to them every morning. You’re my sunshine and first smile of the day with my morning coffee. Keep it up. Love you so much, Naomi.

  2. Love the colors on the flowers, the contrasts, the compositions. What kind of flowers are they? And by the way, what camera and lens did you use?

    • They are little carnations that my husband and daughter brought home from the grocery store. I have a Canon t2i and was using a Tamron 90mm macro lens. It’s so fun!!!

      • The best thing about photography is when one has fun and finds peace in it.
I’m planning to buy a Nikon D90 in the close future (currently saving up every cent I come across). Choosing the camera was rather easy, I like Nikon and the D90 is a very good and affordable camera. But choosing the first lens I’ll buy for it has turned out to be rather complicated. There are so many out there! So when I see a shot I love, I ask what lens it was taken with, so I have an idea what different lenses can accomplish. Thanks for the info!

        • I completely agree. I love being so absorbed by it that I don’t think of anything else. Is there such a thing as lens envy? I saw someone this weekend who had a telephoto lens I loved. How many lenses is too many lenses? lol.
